Makeup is fun to play with, it’s an art. You can do so much with one eyeshadow palette, you could do a drag look one day and the next you can do a smokey rockstar-y look. That’s the fun in makeup. And makeup is also used often times, to bring out your best features. It’s ironic coming from someone who’s wearing a full face in their profile picture to talk shit about women who enjoy wearing makeup for themselves and to feel a certain way, whether its like a rockstar, a queen, a femme fatale, a princess…. The majority of women who wear makeup do it for themselves. This woman is sad because she can’t do what she has been doing for years and years now, even she is blind she wants to be able to look like whatever she feels like that day (yes, even if she doesn’t see). You’re bitter and angry as fuck, that’s really sad. 

And adding anti men in your bio will make you look like a feminazi, its like someone would out anti black or white power in their bio and get offended if they get called a nazi

ok ya as an artist i agree makeup can be an interesting media for expiramentation but this woman wasnt doing that so your point is irrelevant.

you think this 80 year old lady wanted to look like a rockstar? a “femme fatale”? nope! she wanted to feel comfortable and normal.

i am saying it is sad and upsetting to me that this woman, at such an old age, where she is undoubtedly retired, and cannot see, is so worried about how she looks. she is unable to enjoy life unless she wears makeup, and that to me is depressing, and is call for change.

How can you tell how she feels when you don’t even know her?? Yes, maybe she wants to feel like a ‘rockstar’ or even maybe she wants to feel like a ‘princess’ or whatever the fuck, I just gave out examples out of many. She doesn’t want to feel normal, she just wants to be able to do what she used to do back when she had her fucking sight, which includes wearing makeup and probably many other things. It’s cute that her partner, who sees she is upset that she won’t be able to do something she ENJOYED, took the time to learn it for HER to try and ease her pain, to help her transition in her new life. She likes makeup because it’s fun, not because it’s ‘to feel normal’. 80 year old still wear makeup, and it’s not to feel normal, it’s because they fucking enjoy it. They enjoy pampering themselves, just like young women, middle aged women do. 

She is worried about not enjoying the things she used to be able to do.

my mum discovered yesterday that Bob comes from Robert and it took her a while to realise that Robert is my brother’s (her son’s) name

i really like those discustions on the internet where both sides don’t really have the same opinions and views but still respect each other and make sure that the other side is understanding the message without calling names and offending

i’m having one of those disccusions rn about military dogs and i’m having fun tbh

my father was a policeman with many dogs for explosives and drugs that could also attack if they were in danger and since my nursery school was nearby his work and place where he had those dogs, he would take me out from school to him and let me play with dogs

i had zero harm during this time and had absolute fun with them, too bad that my father didn'y think about bringing one to home as a civil normal pet (which is one of the choices that he could do; the others where putting down and giving away for adoption - he really liked the 3rd one)

thanks to that i think i have love for dogs and no fear of big and dangerous doggos, those that he had were german shepherds and those really can do harm but there were alright

some dude just came in basically saying that he would have preffered service dog over pitbull

i’m literally triggered but i’m gonna keep it cool
